General Information for 5th Year Students
Dept. of Internal Medicine, Building B
Academic Year 2018/2019; 2nd Semester
1. Topics: HAEMATOLOGY, HAEMOSTASEOLOGY
2. Dates of lectures: Tuesdays (11:00-12:00), Thursdays (09:00-10:00) on weeks 1-5
Mondays (09:00-10:00) on weeks 6-10
3. Location: lectures: Lecture Hall, Institute of Internal Medicine, Building A (former 1st Dept. of Internal Medicine)
practices: Building “B”, Institute of Internal Medicine
4. Attending the lectures is not compulsory; however, it is highly recommended.
5. Participation at the practical lessons is compulsory. Since topics of the practices are very strict and only five haematological practices are available, no supplementary or „make-up” practices (e.g. weekends, other days, etc.) can be accepted! N.B. The importance of practical skill (phyisical and laboratory examination) will be in focus. The guide given above might be a matter of change according to the actually available patients.
Students are strongly recommended to prepare for the seminars since those will be interactive!
6. Examination:
A. Written test, the minimum questions can be downloaded from the following website:

B. Oral examination: practical questions and 2 titles.
